Android twitter widget not updating the bible on dating

I noticed a problem with my widgets on my Android device where the app widgets were not showing up.

I had all of the standard widgets like Music, News & Weather, and Power Control, but no option for Facebook, Twitter, or any other apps I installed.

(Avoid polling) UPDATE As per Karan's suggestion I have added the following code in my Service: Remote Views remote Views = new Remote Views(Package Name(), R.layout.widget); Component Name this Widget = new Component Name( context, Wlan Widget.class ); remote Text View Text(widget_QCLevel, " " qc Percentage); App Widget Instance( context ).update App Widget( this Widget, remote Views ); With this, you should be able to put any period you want ?

If you’re having trouble installing the latest Twitter for Android app, check to see how much space is available on your phone.

But because there were some problems with applications I use daily, I reverted back to my old Android 6.0.1 build. Maybe something with battery optimizations or something?

I don't have to mention to you that widgets that aren't updating are very annoying.

Visit Stack Exchange Since a couple of days/weeks, I noticed that my widgets aren't updating anymore on my home screens of my Nexus 6 (Android 6.0.1).

It's not related to a single widget, it's all of them.

Also is there a better approach to updating the the widget rather than using a timer and timertask? But I also want to be able to send it data from a service I am running that calculates the Quality of Sound over wifi. Here is what I have after some reading and a quick tutorial: public class Wlan Widget extends App Widget Provider{ Remote Views remote Views; App Widget Manager app Widget Manager; Component Name this Widget; Wifi Manager wifi Manager; public void on Update(Context context, App Widget Manager app Widget Manager, int[] app Widget Ids) private class Wlan Timer extends Timer Task The above seems to work ok, it updates the SSID on the widget every 10 seconds. As I already mentioned, I'm using a Motorola Nexus 6 with stock Android 6.0.1 on it.I have all the latest version of the Android version for my phone, and have installed all security patches. So I got into the Android widget documentation to find out what made the widgets tick. So I found out, that one widget can actually block the updating of the other widgets. So by adding every widget seperately, with a lot of time in between, I could notice that the problem occurred after a while.
